In the event of an emergency…
Over eight million emergency calls are made to 999 every year. Along with the police, the fire and ambulance services are at the forefront of responding. Frequently tackling challenging and in some instance life threatening incidents; services are under increasing pressure with financial considerations seemingly foremost amongst these.
We understand the highly pressurised and often sensitive environment in which both the fire and ambulance services operate and will always tailor our approach to handling claims accordingly.
Our legal expertise spans the full spectrum of regulatory, employers’ and public liability law, handling claims and advising on matters such as:
- Employers’ liability – including injuries during training and incidents
- Motor
- Inquests
- Regulatory
- Stress
- Deafness – use of fire hoses, radio induced hearing loss
- Negligent failure to respond to incidents
- Chemical inhalation and exposure to asbestos
The approach we adopt will always be Partner-led and consider the merits of any action in the context of safeguarding the reputation of the individual service and the public confidence.
