This review is intended to provide a general review and guidance on causation issues that are likely to arise in the event of compensation claims being presented for contracting COVID-19.
This guidance is not intended to be exhaustive as it cannot be, at the time of writing research into the long-term health issues secondary to COVID-19 is at a very early stage and it remains to be seen what approach will be taken by the Courts to the causation arguments such claims will inevitably give rise to.
