With the majority of ‘low value’ injury claims now falling within the MoJ Portal regime we recognise the importance of having a streamlined and robust Portal process. To best protect our clients’ interests we have adopted:
- A dedicated Claims Portal Unit (CPU)
- A Portal Manager who is responsible for devising and updating the portal strategy and monitoring portal trends
- Collaborative relationships with our insurer partners; to provide clarity, guidance and training in respect of Portal procedures
We understand the Portal process can be manipulated by unscrupulous claimant firms. Our strategies and safeguards ensure claims are retained in the Portal to reduce costs where possible.
With a proactive approach to investigations we ensure that suitable claims remain within the Portal but those that are unsuitable do not. We have vast experience in spotting claims that are unsuitable for the Portal and where necessary claims will be removed from the process to allow our experienced litigators to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
