Abuse comes in many forms, verbal, physical, sexual and online, and can impact on any aspect of business and society and allegations of abuse, of both children and vulnerable adults, continue to dominate headlines and shock the nation.
Abuse claims are emotive and challenging for all parties involved and require a considered and sensitive approach.
The team here at Plexus has dealt with all types of abuse and other sensitive claims over the years through the representation of over 30 Local Authorities and 50 commercial care providers, many independent schools, religious institutions, charities, care homes and the voluntary sector. This long history of managing abuse claims has provided us with an excellent understanding of the specialist issues and complexities associated with them.
